Giving back to the community is a core belief of our firm. Actions speak much louder than words, but here is a summary of how we help support the community that supports us:
Tuxedo chamber of commerce
Stevens & Sweet (formerly Gregory G. Stevens Inc.) is a founding member of the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce, and has been a part of the organization since its inception in 1995.
Bill has served as the President of the Chamber from 2010 - 2017, and was a member of the Board of Trustees 2008 - 2017.
In addition to running both monthly membership meetings and board meetings, we sponsored the Annual Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing, participated in Tuxedo Family Fun Day, and assist and attend just about every organizational function in between.
We also volunteer our services to the Finance Committee, and we also voluntarily prepare the organization's income tax return annually.
ST. MARY'S-IN-TUXEDO
Greg is a proud member of the St. Mary's congregation and volunteers weekly during services as well as special events and routine maintenance. We are very close with the organization and are proud of St. Mary's monumental efforts in supporting the greater Tuxedo community through its preschool, support of the TUFSD/PTO BackPack Program, Sloatsburg Food Pantry, and many others.
TUXEDO Park library
Bill was the Treasurer of the Tuxedo Park Library and served on the Board of Trustees from 2013 - 2017. We proudly support the annual Memorial Day festivities, and Bill was honored as the event's keynote speaker in 2013.
Tuxedo Historical Society
Bill previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Historical Society from 2012 - 2017.
